You know what really drives me insane? People who try to get something for nothing. People who try to get shit for free, for absolutely no reason. It really annoys the hell out of me. Let me tell you something. If you're going to come into MY restaurant, do not eat an entire meal, and then try to claim that it was undercooked or overcooked or anything of the sort. I will not give it to you free. Sorry. Maybe that makes me an asshole, maybe not. Clearly, if you ate the entire fucking sandwich, then it wasn't all that bad. I understand that times are rough for a lot of people, but ... fuck you. Don't try to pull that shit with me. I don't respond well to being told what I'm supposed to do. Especially not in MY restaurant.
Oye.
I don't normally let customers get me this pissed off, but I've been in a pretty shitty mood in general lately, and then this shit happened ... I had to leave the restaurant for a few hours to cool down.
I think I need a fucking vacation. |

I'm getting over being sick, which sucks. I was sick for a little bit, and I haven't been in my restaurant for like a week. It's horrible. I'm gonna take the weekend to make sure I'm fully healthy again, and then I'm going to go back to the restaurant on Monday. It's weird, being home with nothing to do. I haven't been away from the restaurant this long since I opened the damn place. Maybe that means that I need to take a vacation or something, I don't know. I'd love to, but now that I just spent a week away from the restaurant being sick, there's no way I'll be able to take a week for pleasure. At least ... not anytime soon. We'll see what happens in about six months or so. I don't even know where I'd go on a vacation. It's sad.
But with all this free time on my hands (while dying of the plague), I've been watching an insane amount of television shows and movies on Hulu. I just watched the entire series of Community so far, and holy fucking shit. Does anyone else watch that show? Oh my GOD, it makes me laugh my ass off. It's so randomly funny, and I can't even begin to describe how hard it makes me laugh. I love it. I don't know what to do tomorrow, it's been forever since I'm not spending a Friday night in the restaurant. What should I do? What does the nightlife offer? |

Name's Declan. I'm sure I know a few of you. I'm sure a few of you wish you didn't know me. It comes with the territory when you're friends with such a charming and handsome man. It cannot be helped.
Anyway. I own that little diner/bar place in Tarrytown called Melt Bar & Grilled. It has amazing food. Though, I might be slightly biased. Oh well.
